Instagram adds New Subscriber features for Creators

Popular social media has added a new feature for those creators who have paid subscribers on Instagram. According to the available reports, this feature will let creators sign up for a Subscribers program. From here the creators will be able to charge a monthly fee to their followers for watching exclusive content through the app.

The Instagram chief has posted a video on Twitter explain about this feature. Mosseri has mentioned that paid subscribers can also host exclusive chats through this feature. Here they can participate and interact with other people. He further mentions that up to 30 subscribers can be added at a time in a subscriber’s chat.

Mosseri includes that this update is just a step of a much longer path that will provide creators with a whole range of tools to make a living online. As per the reports, creators will be able to share their Reels and posts directly with subscribers. The shared content will carry the subscriber badge. Apart from this, creators having subscriber content will also have a new tab on their profile called “Subscriber home”.
