As you may know, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended the lockdown in the country till 3 May to prevent the spread of coronavirus. But in such a situation the poor people of the country have to face the problem of employment and rationing.
The income of people doing small jobs has stopped at once. But in the meantime, the government has announced a special scheme to help such people, under which they will be given ration, money, and even gas cylinders.
Please note that under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, 1. A relief package of Rs 7 lakh crore has been announced, due to which the poor people are being helped.

PM Garib Kalyan Yojana
32 crore people have been given money. A total amount of Rs 29,352 crore has been allocated to these crores as of April 13.
At the same time, under the Jan Dhan Yojana, the government An amount of Rs 9930 crore has been sent to the bank accounts of 86 crore women account holders.
The government also announced assistance to farmers during the lockdown. Rs 14946 crore has been sent to 47 crore farmers under PM Kisan Yojana. Explain that under this scheme, the government would spend Rs 6000 on farmers in three installments in a year.
Pensions are sent to crores of people as part of this scheme. A pension of Rs 1405 crore has been sent to 82 crore people.
These include widow pensions, pension amounts to senior citizens, and disabled persons, which are sent directly to their bank accounts. Also, laborers working in the construction sector have been helped.
