Using two WhatsApp accounts on one phone
The first way you can use two WhatsApp accounts on one phone is through a clone or dual app feature. Some smartphones come with this inbuilt feature like Samsung’s dual messenger, Realme, OnePlus, Vivo and Oppo’s app cloner, and Xiaomi’s dual apps. You will find these app cloning features under the phone settings. These cloning features help you create duplicate applications of not only WhatsApp but other apps too.
If your smartphone does not have the in-built feature then you have to install ‘Parallel App – Dual App cloner’ or any other third-party app from the Google Play Store. To start using this app you need to give the required permissions for the app to function.

Once started, open the app and tap on the ‘+’ button to add the app you want to clone. It will already display WhatsApp and Facebook. Select WhatsApp and a duplicate WhatsApp will be opened. Then set up your account following the usual login process. After you enter your phone number and the verification pin code the app will ask you to restore the backup if it is an old account. Finally, enter your profile name and other details. Now you can use two different WhatsApp on one phone.
The second way you can use two WhatsApp accounts on one phone is by downloading the WhatsApp business app and creating an account with a different number. Both Android and IOS users can use this way and you don’t need to use a cloning app for running two different WhatsApp accounts on a single phone.
However, you should know that you cannot use the same phone number for both regular and business accounts. So you need to register with two different numbers for two accounts. Notably, WhatsApp business chats are not end-to-end encrypted and the company can use it across its services to offer better ads to users. So if you don’t want to compromise your privacy, you can simply opt for the clone or dual app feature.
