WhatsApp is rolling out the Message Reactions feature to some iOS beta testers. The platform has submitted this update through the TestFlight beta program and this update is reported to be available on the 22.9.0.7 version of WhatsApp’s latest iOS beta build. WhatsApp has been testing the ability to react to messages feature for some time.

The WhatsApp developers team is bringing more improvements in the feature and gradually rolling it out on different platforms for testing. WhatsApp message reaction feature for iOS users

According to the reports Popular Global Messenger is releasing the ability to react to messages to certain iOS beta testers. Previously the platform had released a similar feature several times to WhatsApp beta Android users. WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.8.3 update was the first release of this feature. In the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.8.3 update, the platform released Message Reactions to more beta testers.

As per the reports, the ability to react to Messages was gradually released to more and more Android beta testers but there was no news for the iOS beta app. After this latest beta update now certain iOS beta testers can finally react to messages. As seen in the available screenshot, you can easily check if the feature is enabled for your account or not.

To check its availability just tap and hold any chat bubble. If the reaction tray pops – up it means you can react! For those who still don’t know, this is the first version of the Message Reactions feature which has 6 emojis – Like, Love, Surprised, Sad, and Thanks. However, the platform is planning to add more emojis for reacting in a future update.

Just like Android beta testers, the platform is rolling out this feature in steps to iOS beta testers too. So if you are not able to react to messages at present please wait for a future update as more activations are in the line.
