WhatsApp is rolling out a redesigned Camera Interface for beta Android users. In a previous update, WhatsApp released a new Interface for the Camera on WhatsApp iOS beta. According to a WhatsApp news reporter in this update, the platform is launching the same redesigned Interface for the camera and media picker to some WhatsApp beta Android users.
Meta-owned WhatsApp is recently working on some new features which include modifying the Camera Interface. As one of the most popular and in-demand messaging apps, it is regularly undergoing updates to enhance user experience on the app. In the latest beta update, the app is reportedly rolling out redesigned Camera Interface on beta Android.

WhatsApp Camera redesign interface
In a previously released article on WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.1.2 version, the leading WhatsApp news portal announced a new under-development feature that lets you use the camera with a new user Interface. After few weeks after this release, the news portal again reported about a newly designed media picker in WhatsApp beta for the Android 2.22.4.4 version.
As per the reports, in the last few days, the Instant Messaging App has started testing these new features. WABetaInfo has released a screenshot of the feature in which you can see that WhatsApp is, at last, rolling out the revamped camera interface and the new media picker with ‘recent’ and ‘Gallery’ tabs.

The report mentions that these additions are currently available only to select beta testers using the latest updates of WhatsApp beta for Android. The report further adds that as per plans of the company during the development period of this interface, the camera media bar has not been removed.
The reason for this is assumed that after it was removed from WhatsApp beta for the iOS update some people complained about it and so WhatsApp had to restore it in another update.

However, the good news is that WhatsApp is finally releasing the redesigned camera interface and media picker to beta testers.
