WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature ‘Archived chats’ for the Universal Windows platform. It is reported that this feature will be Compatible with WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2213.3.0 version. This latest beta version of Windows will be available in the Microsoft store.

A few weeks back in WhatsApp beta for UWP 2.2212.2.0 update, the Meta-owned Instant Messaging app introduced the ability to open the view once photos and videos feature. After the update, the platform is again releasing a new feature for the Universal Windows platform that was missing in the previous version. WhatsApp Archived Chats for UWP

The archive chat feature allows you to hide an individual or group chat from your chat list which helps you to organize your conversation in a better way. In the current update, WhatsApp has made the ability to view your archived chats finally possible. You can see this in the available screenshot released by the leading WhatsApp news portal. Moreover, you can also archive and unarchive the chats. However according to the reports currently there are some bugs like when you unarchive a chat, it won’t refresh the chat’s list.
