Notably, the time limit for recording voice notes is 30 seconds. However, people who have installed the latest version of the app can only be able to listen to these voice status updates. The report further mentions that this feature is fully protected with end-to-end encryption. Just like the image status and video status updates, voice status updates also gets disappeared after 24 hours.

The voice status updates feature is available in the latest beta version of the Android app within the Google Play beta program.
