WhatsApp is working on a camera shortcut feature for beta iOS users. The platform has submitted this update through the TestFlight beta program with this update the current version reaches 22.19.0.75. The same feature marked within WhatsApp settings is available in the 2.22.19.75 version. According to WABetaInfo the TestFlight build of this feature will be available in 22.19.0 (396688670).

WABetaInfo has earlier released an article on WhatsApp beta for the Android 2.22.19.7 update. In this article, the news portal already announced this new shortcut for cameras. The report added that this feature will be available to those who can create a community. This new shortcut will work as a new entry point for them.
According to the report, the WhatsApp Dev team was already planning to introduce this feature because the camera tab is replaced by the community tab. So, this feature was actually needed to fulfill the gap. In this current beta update, the platform is reportedly developing this camera shortcut feature for beta iOS users too.

The reliable WhatsApp news source has also released a screenshot of the feature. The screenshot reveals how the Feature will work after it is released. You can see that in the new settings, the camera shortcut will be replaced within the navigation bar. As previously announced only those users will be able to see this shortcut who can create a community.
However as this feature is currently under development process, It will be available in a future update of the app. This new camera shortcut feature is the same one that was applied for beta Android devices. But as per the report, some glitches were reported just after the feature was implemented. The report also added that the Developer team has currently moved this feature in another update.

However, as mentioned earlier the company is still working on this feature. So the new shortcut will not be visible to you at present. According to the available report, the platform will announce it on a coming date. Though there are no official announcements on the final release date of the feature you can expect to see it soon in a future beta build.
