Oppo F23 5G is now available in India. The latest F series has been launched on the 15th of May, Monday as a new mid-segment 5G smartphone. It acts as the successor of Oppo F21 launched in 2022. Oppo F23 5G Smartphone
The Oppo F23 5G smartphone sports a 6.72 inch, 8bit FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen has 2400×1080 pixels resolution, 680 nits of peak brightness, HRD 10+ and 240 Hz touch sampling rate with 391 PPI density. The display portrays 16.7 million colours at 100% DCI P3 colour gamut and 100% sRGB. The panel comes in a flat design with a centred punch hole and is protected by Panda 1681 glass. It has an aluminium frame and a plastic back.
The Oppo F23 5G houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset which enables 5G connectivity. It is paired with Adreno 619 GPU, LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage that is further expandable with a micro SD card. It also offers dynamic RAM expansion support of up to 8GB. Out of the box, the device runs on Android 13 OS with colour OS 13.1.

The F23 5G smartphone houses a triple rear camera setup with a 64 MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP microscope lens. It also provides a 32 MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The main snapper comes with autofocus features. The other camera features include nightscape, panorama, portrait, time-lapse and more.
For connectivity, the F23 5G provides 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB type C port and NFC. It comes backed with a powerful 5000 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging capacity and its proprietory Battery Health Engine technology. The other features of the smartphone include a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button, Face unlock support, dual stereo speakers, dual-band 5G, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

The Oppo F23 5G is said to compete with Redmi Note 12 Pro. It is available in two colour options – Bold Gold and Cool Black. You can pre-order the phone at Rs. 24,999. The company is providing up to 6 months of no-cost EMI, a 10% cashback to ICICI Bank SBI cards and Bajaj finance. It is also giving an exchange benefit of up to Rs. 2500. You can buy the phone from the 18th of May via Amazon, Oppo Store, and brand-authorised retailers.
