The Samsung Galaxy S23 will expectedly come with a fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC processor and a fast UFS 4.0 storage version. It is said to be offering a better cooling system, four years of Android upgrades, and five years of security updates. It is said to flaunt a 6.1-inch AMOLED display with HDR 10 + support and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone is said to feature a triple rear camera set up with a 50 MP main camera, 12 MP ultrawide angle camera, and a 10 MP sensor with 3X telephoto. According to the reports, the device will boast a 3900 mAh battery with 45w charging Technology. This Flagship phone is suggested to have wireless charging support.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 will reportedly be more expensive than its predecessor the Galaxy S22 series. The company is said to launch three new phones under the S23 series – Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 ultra. This series is said to have had the highest price jump over the last three years.

Price and availability

According to the available reports the Samsung Galaxy S23 base variant for 8GB+128GB will retail at Rs. 79,999. The 8GB+256GB is said to cost Rs. 83,999. The Samsung Galaxy S23+ with the same storage options may cost Rs. 89,999 and 93,999 respectively. The Samsung Galaxy S23 ultra for 8GB+256GB is said to come at Rs. 1,14,999.

Samsung has been steadily increasing prices with each subsequent model after Galaxy S20. But the Galaxy S21 series had notably lower prices. As per the report, Samsung took this step due to lower sales of the Galaxy S20 series.

However, this price reveal is not official as the company is yet to make a final announcement. But as highlighted, the upcoming S23 will be Rs. 7000 more on average than the earlier ones. The Samsung Galaxy S23+ and S23 ultra cost Rs. 5000 more.

You just have to pay a pre-order amount of Rs. 1999. The report further mentions that the company is also offering a benefit of Rs. 5000 for those who pre-order the S23 series.
