Vivo has recently launched its latest Vivo S16 series. The official launch event of this smartphone was held in China on the 22nd of December 2022. According to the reports the company has included three models in this series. They are Vivo S16 Pro, Vivo S16 and Vivo S16e. Vivo S16 series
As per the available reports, all three smartphones under this series run on Android 13-based origin OS 3. They come with a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED display and are backed up by 4,600mAh batteries that support 66w fast charging capacity. This series features a centre-positioned punch-hole 16 MP selfie camera and has in-display fingerprint sensors.

All smartphones under this series support USP Type – C audio and there is no 3.5 mm audio jack available. For connectivity, all three smartphones feature 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VOLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.2 and GPS + GLONASS.
Specification
The specification in which they differ from each other is S16 Pro comes with a 50 MP main camera. Which is featured with Sony 1M×766v sensor and OIS. The primary sensor includes an f/1.88 aperture. The smartphone also has an 8 MP ultrawide module along with a 2 MP macro camera. The new Vivo S16 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SOC and comes in black and green colour options.

The green colour has a photochromic technology that changes from light green to dark green with the smoked pattern on the purple glass. It also has an LED ring which the company has named Aura Light.
The Vivo S16 model comes with a rear triple camera setup which consists of a 64 MP Primary camera with 8 MP+2 MP cameras. The single front camera setup features a 50 MP sensor with f/f/2.45 aperture. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor and comes with 12 GB of RAM. It is available in black, green and gradient colour options.
Vivo S16e comes with a 6.62 inches flat AMOLED display which is comparatively smaller than S16 Pro and S16 which have a 6.78-inch display. Vivo S16e also runs on Android 11 with the origin OS Ocean on top. It is powered by an extension 1080 5nm processor. The triple rear Camera setup consists of a 50 MP Primary camera and LED flash, a 2 MP portrait primary camera and a 2 MP macro lens. It is available in black, green and purple colour options.

Price
Coming to the prices, the Vivo S16 Pro starts at a price range of Rs. 39,200 for the 12 GB+356 GB model. The 12 GB+512 GB model comes with a price tag of Rs. 42,700.
Vivo S16 starts at Rs. 29,700 for an 8 GB+28 GB model. The 8 GB+256 GB model comes at Rs 32,000. The 12 GB+256 GB version is available for Rs. 35,600 and the 12 GB+512 GB version comes with a price tag of Rs.39,200.
Vivo S16e starts with a price range of Rs.24,900 for the 8 GB+128 GB model. The 8 GB+256 GB version comes at Rs.27,300 and the 12 GB+256 GB is available at Rs. 29,700.
