WhatsApp is rolling out the Improvements for calls feature to iOS and Android users. According to the reports of a leading WhatsApp news source, in an official blog post, the company has announced a list of improvements it has implemented for WhatsApp calling this year. The report also mentions that the WhatsApp developers team is planning to make further improvements regarding call quality and privacy.
These changes will be applied both to WhatsApp voice calls as well as video calls. The features mentioned in the report are 32- person calls, message or mute participants in a call, call links, voice waveforms, in-call banner notifications, and picture-in-picture (released only to iOS users). As per the reports of WABetaInfo, the Improvements for the calls feature will make it easier for people to get connected on WhatsApp. Here is the list of the advanced calling features that will be available to all those who have installed the latest version of WhatsApp for iOS and WhatsApp for Android:-

- The first feature will let you add up to 32 persons in a private WhatsApp group call. The Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg already made the announcement about this feature last month on Facebook.

- In the third feature, the company gives you the ability to create and share an invite link for WhatsApp calls. People can quickly join the group call using this link.
- The next amazing feature the company released was its voice waveforms. With this feature, you can easily understand who is talking among the participants even if their camera is turned off.
- The next feature you can take advantage of is In – call banner notifications. The app notifies you when someone joins the call in real-time thanks to an in-app banner.
- The last feature picture in the picture is currently rolled out only to WhatsApp iOS users. It is available in the 22.24.0.79 beta version. But the company plans to release this feature to all users on the latest stable release in the coming year.
