WhatsApp is working on a new feature ‘Avatars’ for beta Android users. The platform has submitted this update through the Google Play Beta Program with this update the current version reaches 2.22.16.11. In this update, the Meta-owned Instant messaging app is rolling out a new way to be you on the platform.

WhatsApp to let you use Avatars soon
In a previous article by WABetaInfo posted last month, the news portal reported the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.15.5 update. According to the report in the update, the platform is working to set up Memoji or Bitmoji when you place video calls in the future. This means that the platform will enable you to use an Avatar as a mask when you make any video call.
However, the report also mentions that this feature might take a long time to get ready to be tested. But once it is available you can also use your Avatar as a sticker. In this current beta update, the WhatsApp dev team is working on a new part to introduce Avatars.

The reliable WhatsApp news source has also released a screenshot of this newly added section. The screenshot shows that there will be a header image at the top which is as same as Facebook Avatars. This also suggests that the WhatsApp Avatars are taken from its parent company Meta.
You can see that there will be a new tab written ‘create your Avatar’. From this section, you can easily customize your Avatars and use them as stickers. You will also be able to share these stickers with your contacts on the app.

So, after this feature is available you really get a new fun way to be you on WhatsApp. The New Avtar feature is currently under development process so it is not ready to be released to beta testers. There are no tweaks on its final release date also.
